We went as six people a few years back and rented one of the two houses that were there then. The other one was empty. The house was spotless and furnished with a lot of care, and the garden was wonderful. We spent time at the swimming pond, fire pit and picnic table, and because the grounds were fully fenced, our dog could roam around happily all day. In the morning we walked in the private woods, which are fenced too, and in the evenings we did scavenger hunts there. We also had water fights and game nights, then wound down in the hot tub with all that lovely quiet. It was a really successful holiday, and the owner even gave us a discount after some of our group had to cancel. I thought it was the perfect place and would happily return, but the price has gone up. We looked at it for a family holiday, though to get enough bedrooms we would have needed to rent all three houses, which would have cost well over €5,000. We booked a holiday home in a holiday park for just under €2,000 instead. It has seven bedrooms, though sadly it isn't secluded.
