The rooms were very good and so was breakfast. Service felt a bit stiff and could have been friendlier.

The windows open, and there's automatic air-conditioning. The room was spacious and nicely done in a modern country style, with a complete, roomy bathroom. I could hear the water running when other guests showered in the morning, and it woke me up.

We got almost no sleep. A huge concert was happening in a field next door, and the hotel hadn't warned us. The bass and music were so loud they shook the hotel, and it wasn't possible to sleep until around 2 a.m. Then drunk people shouted and screamed as they left. The building isn't soundproof, and there were no earplugs. When we complained, all we got was a shrug and, “What can we do about it?” The customer service was awful. If you value sleep and good service, don't stay here.

Everything works as it should, and it's a very clean, proper, classy place. But it feels cookie-cutter, right down to the usual paintings on the walls. Nice enough, just not memorable. Sometimes ordinary is underrated, but this place really is ordinary.
