Roing B&B

We had very good service, a tasty breakfast, and a spacious, clean room.

We had the place to ourselves, so we could choose when to eat breakfast. After a great night’s sleep in a lovely bed, we had a delicious breakfast at 10:00 AM. You could already smell the freshly baked rolls in the hallway. Before we left, Ingrid gave us some activity tips. She’d welcomed us so warmly, and everything was neat and tidy. There’s even a kitchen if you want to make something yourself, and outdoor seating too, although it was raining during our visit. I’d definitely recommend this B&B!

This quiet B&B in Hijken (Dr) is a good base for cycling, and the Hijkerveld nature reserve is close enough to reach by bike. The hot, dry summer had sadly left little of the beautiful heathland. I slept well, though the bed felt a bit soft with its memory foam topper. Room 3 is the largest, with a roomy kitchen, kitchen table, separate sitting area, and private terrace.

The B&B is in a beautiful setting, and the nearby area is easy to explore by bike. Rooms are spacious, there’s a terrace, and the hostess was friendly. Excellent value for money.
