I was travelling alone by motorcycle from Germany to catch the ferry at Europoort, and stopped here overnight. The staff were especially lovely, friendly and helpful, and everyone I spoke to had excellent English, which was incredibly useful for me. The building is beautiful, my room was comfortable and well appointed, and dinner on the patio on a warm evening was lovely. Breakfast in the restaurant the next morning was great too.

I travel for work often, and the hot water pressure here was so weak that I couldn’t take a proper shower. After a long workday, it’s hard to relax without a decent, refreshing shower. I complained the day after I first had the problem. Reception accepted my request, but it wasn’t properly dealt with, and the same issue was still there on my next stay. Please fix the water pressure on the second floor. If I could score food and accommodation separately, the food would get a 5 and the stay a 1. Since that isn’t possible, my overall rating is 1.

One of the few boutique hotels around here. The rooms are clean, and the restaurant and service are fantastic.

The room was clean and nice, and the food was awesome. For what we needed, though, the location was a little too far from town.

The bed was right against a wall with such sharp plaster that I cut my knee while turning in my sleep. There’s no fridge in the room, and you don’t get water there like you do at other hotels.
