We felt stuck once we arrived, since it was Pride weekend and there were no other places available. The host had already refused to cancel after we contacted them before the trip about reviews mentioning bed bugs. When we messaged during the stay, we got no response, and later they denied responsibility. The apartment was filthy and not fit to stay in. We found stained sheets, a blocked sink, a broken toilet and shower, and no mattress protectors. We were bitten by bed bugs. Some lights didn't work, the curtains came down, and dirty bedding had been shoved into the wardrobe. The place was nothing like advertised. Completely unacceptable.

We had to leave late at night and find somewhere else to stay after being bitten by bed bugs. The owner didn't help, and Booking.com wouldn't assist or refund us, even though we provided proof and the owner had declined the refund. The listing pictures gave a misleading impression. In person, the place was dirty, neglected, and falling apart. Carpets and the bed were stained, drains barely worked, several lights were out, and there was an awful smell. Features were broken, and an old toilet was being kept in the closet. Older reviews have raised complaints repeatedly, so it seems the property may not have been properly maintained for more than six months. Staying here felt like a risk to our health, and when something went wrong we were left to manage on our own.
For months I've been trying to move a one-night booking by just a few days. I've tried contacting them in several ways, including through hotels.com, and still haven't managed to get a response. Don't book if you expect a business to communicate.
My wife and I stayed a few nights and found the place clean and safe. I'd recommend it.
The code lock worked perfectly, and the location was good. The room itself looked appealing in the photos, but in reality it needed a serious clean. I hadn't seen a vacuum cleaner there in ten years, and the shower was broken and seemed not to have been cleaned since before the pandemic. Bathroom fittings were close to falling apart. Several lamps were broken or missing bulbs, and we didn't get fresh towels or toilet paper refills. After a few nights, we realized we should have checked for bed bugs. There was even an unwashed, dismantled toilet sitting on top of the wardrobe.
