The apartment was clean and roomy, with a comfortable place to sit. It was only a five-minute walk to the center, and the beach was just a few minutes away over the dunes. There was everything we needed for cooking, though no oven. The beds could have been a little bigger, and the mattresses are getting a bit old. In the bedroom, which you enter from the living room, we couldn’t open the windows. The balcony door only opened fully, it couldn’t be tilted. Since the apartment is on the ground floor, leaving it wide open overnight didn’t seem sensible, especially as we had our dog with us. There were small vents high up in the windows, but they didn’t really let in fresh air. The bathroom felt a bit cramped, especially with the second sink opposite the shower. We left the shower door open to give ourselves a little more room behind it. Sadly, there was water damage on the bathroom ceiling.

We had a private parking space, and the balcony had four chairs and a fantastic view of the dike. The apartment was very well maintained, with a modern kitchenette, a dishwasher, and a reasonably sized fridge. There are some signs of wear, but that’s to be expected. The children’s playground is lovely, though the benches could do with an update.

We slept incredibly well, the comfort was superb. The apartment was cozy and had everything we needed for a holiday. Really fantastic, and I’d definitely recommend it!

For what you pay, everything is good. There’s always something you could complain about, but if I want more luxury, I just have to pay more.
