Hotel Molenbos

I stayed for two nights, from 15-17/6/25, and checked out today. I left my green phantom crystal necklace on the lamp beside the bed in Room 8. We called, but it couldn't be found. It isn't worth much, but it means a lot to me, and I'm very sad about losing it. Could you please check with the cleaning lady? She must have seen it on the side table. I'll be travelling back to Malaysia in a week, and I really hope there's some good news. I'm sad there hasn't been a response about the missing necklace. I left it on the side table, so it just can't have disappeared like that.

Even though the hotel isn't really designed for young children, Hotelmanager Maikel said he'd do his best to help. He took our last-minute booking and our 2-year-old in stride, and gave him proper attention. A great start, since travelling with a child can be a hassle. His way of interacting with all the guests made the stay genuinely pleasant. The hotel's layout feels cosy, and breakfast was nicely presented with plenty to eat. We were still full enough to skip lunch. We’ll be back!

Our room was in top condition and had everything we wanted for a holiday. My wife and I spent a lovely few days at the Molenbos Hotel on our favourite island, Texel, in September 2023. The facilities were excellent, breakfast was great, and the staff were helpful. Thanks for making the stay so memorable. I’d always recommend the hotel when visiting Texel.

We were very comfortable at Hotel Molenbos and would recommend it to anyone. The staff were warm and welcoming, the rooms were great, and breakfast was superb. The dining and breakfast area felt cosy, and our room opened onto a beautiful garden. It's in an excellent spot on the island.
