We slept really well in the comfortable beds, and loved both the restaurant and spa. Such a nice hotel, with lovely staff too.

We stopped here on the way to Amsterdam, hoping for a romantic, delicious visit because of the Michelin star. Dinner was good and the service was good too, but finding a shell fragment and hair in the food was disappointing for a place with a Michelin Guide star. When we brought it up, the response was that the chef “has a lot of hair.” The upstairs room area also badly needs an upgrade, and the place feels somewhat run down.

We enjoyed the two-night stay, especially with dinner included at a reasonable price. The hotel has a quaint charm that may suit older guests, though I wish I could have seen it in its heyday, as in the photos of famous visitors from the past. The rooms themselves are in desperate need of renovation.

The staff were professional, the place was clean, and the service was top level. We had an amazing stay while celebrating the birthday of our beautiful friend Olga. The hotel is simply amazing, and the food is to die for. Highly recommended!

The breakfast buffet was excellent, and I liked the country feel. The rooms are well kept, but clearly getting old. Our bed was two twin beds that kept sliding apart at the worst moments.
