Bed & Breakfast Rita

A warm, open-hearted pension with really friendly people. Nice place to stay!

Having the whole house to ourselves worked out perfectly since we were there with our son and his girlfriend, and it has just two apartments. The place is furnished with so much care, down to the details, in a colonial style. We especially liked being close to the city center, with private gated parking right beside the house, restaurants easy to reach, and the beach nearby. The time went by far too quickly, so we'll be back. Rita was such a thoughtful host. Before we arrived, she even made one of our rooms available for storing our luggage. Breakfast was freshly made each morning, with a tasty fresh-squeezed fruit energy drink and eggs cooked to order. We swapped excursion ideas with her and quickly settled on a day trip to Groningen, including a canal cruise. Around the house there were treats and drinks to enjoy, including African wine from Rita's home country, in return for a voluntary donation to a children's orphanage. We found that thoughtful and convenient.

The breakfast was delicious and the accommodation was clean. Rita was simply fantastic, and we had a wonderful weekend. Five stars, we'd happily come back.

Rita makes quite an impression. She's very nice, the room was clean, and breakfast was generous. Staying there feels like stepping into another world, something you have to experience.
