The cleaning staff found my wallet the last time I stayed and handed it to management, who contacted me after I’d checked out. That says a lot about the people here. The place is super clean and tidy, and even with the window open, the temperature in the room stays comfortable. You can smoke in your room if the window is open. There’s a warm, welcoming pub downstairs, just like a proper pub, but from the floor above the bar I couldn’t hear the noise at all. This is a hidden gem in the red light district. We’ve stayed a few times, and it’s always our first choice in this lovely city. I’m almost reluctant to give it such a good review because it’s already hard enough to book a room. Best people and the best place to stay, 10/10.

The staff were super friendly, especially Rose, and we had a great weekend stay in Amsterdam. We had a beautiful room on the third floor with a private shower and toilet, in a great location. It was a bit short on amenities and had a couple of small faults, like a missing light spot, but otherwise it was a great experience. I’d definitely come back.

My sister and I found this pub by chance during a weekend in Amsterdam. The bartender, Rose, was awesome, so funny and welcoming that she made us feel like old friends. She introduced us to everyone in the bar and made sure we had a great time. If you want a fun evening and the chance to meet people, I’d really recommend stopping by. I’m looking forward to visiting Amsterdam again so I can come back here.

The lady at the bar was so inviting and friendly, and the pints and atmosphere were incredible. We were visiting for a stag do, and this caught our eye as our first stop. We didn’t regret choosing it. The decor is amazing, and if you’re after a quiet drink with plenty of laughs, I’d definitely recommend this place.
