I cancelled in time, before any charges had been made, but the hotel still pre-charged my credit card. I messaged them about it and heard nothing. A few weeks later the amount was taken from my bank account. I followed up by message and tried calling, but still got no response. I contacted Booking, and they said they would try to reach the hotel. They tried more than once without success. After a lot of bureaucracy, Booking will look into it. It’s been around 45 days since I cancelled, and the hotel has simply ghosted me. Terrible service, especially since I did stay at the hotel. It makes me wonder what the service is like when you’re actually there. Avoid this hotel.

Stayed three nights for work. The owner went above and beyond to make things work for us, including a late check-in and early breakfast. Very nice place, super comfortable bed and a really clean room.

Best place for ribs! They have great vegan and gluten-free food too. Love this place, and it’s worth coming back for. Chef kuba is amazing. Big 5!

A welcoming hostess, nice rooms, and close to the sea. There’s bike rental and a sauna too. The place has everything you need for a great stay on Texel.
