Citystays Deventer

The room was spacious and comfortable, and everything was clear and easy from check-in to checkout. Stephan was a brilliant host, warm and caring, and even helped with my huge suitcase. There’s no hair dryer in the room, but he brought one when I asked. The apartment is on the second floor of a vintage store, very close to Deventer Station, just a 3-5 minute walk, and Dirk Supermarket. You get a code to enter. There’s no elevator, and the staircase is narrow, so take care on it. Stephan helped me with my suitcase again at checkout. This was the first apartment I visited after arriving in Nederland. If I come back, I’ll definitely visit Deventer and stay here again and again.

We’ve stayed with Citystays three times and will definitely return. The apartments have always been clean and incredibly well equipped, and Stephan is a brilliant host. He replies quickly, checks in during the stay to see if we need anything extra, and has kindly rearranged our dates twice when we mixed them up.

The kitchen had everything I needed, which was especially welcome with the terraces not fully open and the weather a bit rainy. I enjoyed exploring the city and nature along the IJssel by day, then eating in and relaxing at night. A lovely stay at the Graf van Burenstraat, and I’ll be back for sure.

We had the only room with a small balcony, a lovely spot to sit outside in the good weather. The church bells chimed every 15 minutes, but they didn’t bother us at all. It’s a great little apartment with everything you need for a nice stay. I’ll book with citystays again.
