The room and bathroom were clean, and the bathroom facilities were fine, though the layout felt a little unconventional and dated. The chair in the room had probably seen better days. Noise was the bigger problem: the downstairs bar was very loud, the room doors slammed hard, and the mattress springs stood out, so I slept poorly. The restaurant looked nice, but I didn’t try it. Fine for one night, maybe two, if you don’t need to get up early the next day. I was here on a business trip.

We stayed at the hotel next door and could hear drunk people outside the bar until 3am, so we couldn’t sleep. Dinner at the restaurant was disappointing too. The pasta was the worst I’ve ever had, badly overcooked and with completely tasteless sauce. The fish was very average, and the portion was too small.

The breakfast was very good, but the staff weren’t so good. The room was tiny, with an uncomfortable bed and thin walls, so you could hear everything the guests next door were doing. I wouldn’t recommend the rooms. They don’t accept AMEX, despite the website saying all credit cards are accepted, so be prepared if you’re staying for business.

The food is tasty and affordable, but the restaurant struggles once it gets to medium or full capacity. They need to limit the number of seats and improve customer care. It was an unpleasant experience.
