Fletcher Landhotel De Borken

The food was delicious, although dinner was a bit pricey. We shared a goat cheese salad, mixed grill, and dame Blanche, and it was filling and really good. Still, I thought the mixed grill cost too much for what we got. It was supposed to come with potatoes, but there were only three tiny chips. Breakfast had more variety than I expected: eggs, bacon, sausages, pancakes, waffles, cereal, six types of bread with several toppings, a jam bar, juice, coffee and tea, fruit, yogurt, pastries, and more. The hotel itself is in an incredibly beautiful location for nature, with a cosy feel and very welcoming staff. Our main trouble was the noise from other guests. The neighbors kept slamming doors and talking loudly in the hallway all night, which was really annoying when we wanted a peaceful getaway. I wish the rooms had better soundproofing between them and the hallway. The pool and sauna were great when it was calm, but two teenagers were jumping around and screaming constantly. It was a shame nobody was there to ask them to quiet down. I do recommend staying here if you're after a peaceful break with lovely walks and hikes. We also spent an afternoon in Groningen, which was easy to reach. The pictures I shared show the hotel from outside and the view from our room.
