The cottage was pretty nice and well equipped, and the staff were genuinely friendly. But it clearly hadn't been cleaned well between guests. We were also frustrated by cars parked right beside the cottages, with people ignoring the parking rules. We came to the Netherlands campervan park with high hopes for Aqua Mundo, expecting rides like the wild water rapids we've seen at other Center Parcs. Instead, the park felt tiny and the wild water ride was barely a ripple, really only suitable for small kids. The pool was overcrowded, and the photos made it look like a big outdoor adventure when it was just a small, flat indoor stream. There are plenty of restaurants, but that didn't make up for the disappointment. We spent ages comparing options, and nowhere on the website did we see that VIP cottages were close to Aqua Mundo. We ended up with a long walk to the park, which was infuriating. Aqua Mundo itself was gross. The changing rooms were filthy and stank, and only a few showers worked. We may leave early. If you have tiny kids, maybe it's fine, but anyone hoping for a real adventure will be let down.

We had a great time and everything else was good. The room needed better cleaning, though. For what you pay per night for a VIP cottage, it should be clean, but our bed was a bit dirty, there was lots of dust on the floor, and the toilet was dirty too. Luckily we called straight away, and a very nice lady named Annebell came to help with everything we needed. Thanks so much, Annabell :)

We spent 5h at Aquamondo, the main reason we chose this Center Parcs, and it was the highlight of the weekend. Our 3 year old was in heaven, with lots of clean, great features for little kids and bigger ones too. The indoor playground was another favorite. Our VIP cottage for up to 4 had plenty of space, and check-in was very easy, done right from the car. It was nicely placed in the park, not too close to the main attractions and not too far either. Such a lovely weekend. I'd definitely recommend this getaway!

The park and its facilities were high standard, with lots to do for all ages. As a family, we found it easy to fill our time. Check-in was quick and efficient too. The cottage, though, was dirty and full of large ants. There was dirt and crumbs on the floor, and our socks were black on the bottom within half an hour. We swept, wiped sticky surfaces and cleaned crumbs, and washed the fruit bowl, but ants kept crawling over the surfaces for our whole visit. We'd paid in full for half board, but on Saturday evening a very rude front-of-house staff member at the restaurant said we had to pay extra for the Easter Sunday breakfast booking. An extra charge itself wasn't too much of a problem, but the regular breakfast was €22.95 and Easter “brunch” was €39.95, while she said we owed another €21.95 for brunch. When we questioned it, she was rude and told us we could skip that evening's meal reservation and go talk to reception if we weren't happy. She was highly unprofessional, and several staff members apologized for her behavior. There seemed to be more traffic here than at other parks we've stayed at, with lots of parking outside the accommodation instead of people using the zone car parks. It felt like that meant more driving around for convenience, and while walking around the park we saw a few near misses between people on bikes and cars coming toward them.

We had a really nice 5 days/4 nights and would definitely come again. There are literally a thousand things to do, and the park's facilities made up for the cottages being a bit outdated and not very well maintained. Almost everything I needed for the kitchen was there. The only thing missing was a small cutting board, which I could buy at the supermarket onsite.
