We had plenty to do here, from bowling and billiards to the games room, pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and an 80s-style bar. The bar downstairs also had great drinks and a nice atmosphere. By the sea, the hotel has lovely views, and good restaurants are close by. Our room was clean and looked after. The food was more mixed. Breakfast was fine but nothing special, with lots of ready-made frozen items, though the bread, salmon, bacon, cheeses, and coffee were good. The burgers in the restaurant downstairs were really bad, the meat seemed suspect, and the waitress wasn't very friendly. Still, I really enjoyed the stay. 😊

The beach is right nearby, town is easy to reach, and the hotel has a good range of facilities. Staff were polite and generally helpful, and it was reassuring to see so many of them keeping the place clean and working. Breakfast was very good. The bathroom was spotless, and housekeeping did a great job. The room itself was generally good, though the floor was dustier than I'd expected. For the price, a bigger TV and an in-room mini fridge would have been nice. The main problem was check-in. The room was advertised as ready from 3 pm, and we'd planned around that, but it wasn't available until more than 90 minutes later. I was travelling internationally and hadn't slept during the journey, so the wait was stressful and caused us to rearrange our evening plans. I'd like to come back and hope check-in is smoother next time. Thanks for the hospitality and relaxing stay.

I stayed for a week after the Reffurence event and really enjoyed it. The staff were kind and professional, and handled the crowds that week very well. The hotel is super cool, with a pool, sauna, children's playroom, bar, and pub, so there are lots of ways to unwind indoors. The rooms are nice, and the shared areas are comfortable too. The beach and town are both a short walk away, and there are a few bus lines as well. Superb hotel ✨

The staff were especially helpful when I made a mistake with my booking. They sorted it out and gave me a great room with a lovely view. Some rooms have beautiful views, and they're fairly spacious. There's lots of shared space for hanging out with friends or getting work done. The hotel feels fancy and has plenty on site, including a restaurant, bar, bistro, pool, sauna, bowling, and arcade. It's a very short walk to the beach and town center, and the bus stop outside goes to Alkmaar.

The buffet dinner had lots of variety and was absolutely delicious, and breakfast exceeded my expectations too. Restaurants were great, and everything was included. There's a lot to do for families here, with a pool, jacuzzi, sauna, bowling, and other activities for kids and adults. Hotel Zuiderduin was much larger than I expected, remarkably clean, and a lovely place to relax or keep entertained. The facilities and service felt high quality for all ages. Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
