A big help was the kind Italian woman at reception. She welcomed us and explained how to reach the main destinations easily by tram, train and metro. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. We booked two twin rooms and were unexpectedly upgraded for free to two quadruple rooms with double beds. Both rooms were very clean and tidy, with good soundproofing, air conditioning and air recirculation. The included coffee pods were excellent, reminiscent of the ones you’d drink in Italy, and there was a kettle with tea too. Bathrooms had a hairdryer, shampoo, shower gel, conditioner and plenty of towels, though no bathrobes. Wi-Fi was free and genuinely excellent. There was also a smart TV with the major streaming platforms. Buffet breakfast could be added for €18 per person. Although check-in wasn’t until 3 PM, we could leave our bags in storage for free and didn’t lose an hour of our short trip. For the price, I expected a low-cost place for a couple of nights, but it had every comfort. 100% recommended!

The rooms were spacious, practical and very well cleaned, showers included. We were also surprised by how quiet it was despite being close to railway lines and highways. Even with the window open at night, we didn’t hear road or rail noise. Staff were very nice and accommodating, and we had an excellent stay. The hotel doesn’t serve alcohol in its common areas. It was fine to pop down to the Lidl two minutes away and buy something to enjoy in the room. The neighborhood seemed nice and safe; I never felt unsafe going out at any hour. We walked back from a restaurant about 25 minutes away one day, and it was a pleasant, relaxing walk. The location is so-so, a bit outside the city, about 12-15 minutes to get in. We tried the tram the first day, but Uber quickly became easier for us as a family. I might have used the tram more alone or as a couple, since the stop is right outside. I’d definitely stay again.

The tram station is right across the street and gets you to the main areas in around 20 minutes. We didn’t mind staying outside the city centre since public transport is efficient. The room was beautiful, clean and really comfortable; I also appreciated the free coffee machine and pods. Breakfast seemed very expensive, which is my only feedback. We barely saw staff because check-in and check-out were self-service, but the cleaning staff did a great job every day. Great stay for a decent price, don’t hesitate to book.

Getting around was easy, with Tram 19 stopping right outside and reaching Leidseplein in 15 minutes. Prices were fair, and breakfast was good at 18 € per person. The hotel was really good: rooms were nice and clean, beds comfortable, and the bath was superb, with a great shower, hot water and working in-floor heating. The room was warm too, so no complaints. Self check-in and check-out. I can absolutely recommend it.
