For one night, the room was small but manageable, though large suitcases would make it feel cramped. The bathroom is a wet room with the toilet and shower together, and there was a slightly musty smell. We stayed on a Saturday, and people crossing the nearby bridge made enough noise to keep us awake. Light sleepers might struggle. The water views were lovely, and opening the windows brought in a nice breeze. It's quite a way from downtown Amsterdam, so you'll need public transport from the train station. I'd recommend it for a short, unusual stay if those trade-offs are okay with you.

We spent three nights here in early August 2023 and would gladly come back. It's a small place, but full of charm and well worth it for three days. The location worked really well, and the bridge is only for pedestrians and cyclists, so there are no cars and it's very quiet. We enjoyed chatting with a former bridge operator and meeting the many friendly neighbors. We recommend staying here.

Coming back to the bridge house after being out always made me smile. It's in a great spot away from the crowds, and the bed is extremely comfortable. Just know that the space is really tiny. The toilet shares a wet room with the shower, and the cleaning products leave a very strong smell. I'd suggest changing them.

I picked this place because I planned to walk through Vondel Park to the museums. The noise other guests mentioned really wasn't bad for me. It faded into the background. The hotel also serviced the room and called to check on me. It's a lovely, quirky little place. Small but comfortable, with a nice bed. It's different, and worth trying.

The room was warm and the bed super comfortable. There's a little fridge for keeping the rosè and cheese cold, and it's in a really great area. Cute little place, with a fantastic view of working boats passing as the bridges go up and down.
