Eijsden is quiet and charming, with beautiful scenery that made for a relaxing stay. Bon Heur Hotel has a rustic look that some people may find a little dated, but the owners’ care and hospitality really stood out. They were incredibly friendly, accommodating, and kind. When I asked whether there was a vegan option at breakfast, they went out and bought three different kinds of vegan yogurt just for me, even though I said they didn’t need to. I appreciated that so much. There was also plenty of choice: peanut butter, jams, different breads, cereals, seeds, dried fruit, fresh fruit, and the yogurt. Our room was spacious and bright, with a large double bed, a bath, and a shower. The owners’ personal attention made the stay special, and I felt right at home.

The staff were friendly, and the hotel was quiet and historic. The rooms have been renovated in a very modern style and have all the necessities. There was a good choice at breakfast, plus private parking. Recommended.

We had a lovely party. The room was very clean, the people were really nice, and it was so cheap. We’ll come again. Michael en Hermien van Oosten
