The staff made the visit for me, especially the waitress with her lovely smile. The atmosphere was friendly and the area quiet, and there was plenty of good food and beer to choose from. Thanks for such kind service. I hope to come back!

We had a quiet, cozy stay in a first-floor room with a balcony, and the neighborhood felt safe. You couldn’t hear the pub downstairs from the room. Parking on the street cost just under €9 for the day. Thanks to t'Vonderke for the hospitality, and we’d be happy to stay again. As restaurateurs they do very well, though the hotel side could use some work. The room was clean enough for a rental, though not to the standard I’d expect at home. The bed was freshly made, but it was two single beds pushed together, which could be awkward for couples. The furniture was functional but dated. There were dishes for two, a small coffee maker, microwave, and small fridge. The TV could be turned toward the bed. The floor had plenty of cracks and wide gaps, but that didn’t bother us. The safe had no batteries. Check-in was the main difficulty. After booking through Booking, we got a standard email with instructions for collecting the room card and the option to check in at 1 p.m. When we arrived then, the card wasn’t in the key locker. Our many emails the day before and calls on the day went unanswered. It was fine for us because we went into town to get something to eat, but communication was very difficult.

There’s lots of outdoor seating, so it’s a nice spot for a drink when the weather’s sunny. The snacks were tasty, the service friendly, and prices seemed average. The beer list wasn’t especially exciting, though there were a couple of good choices.

The snacks, soup, and drinks were all really delicious, and the prices were pretty good too. It’s a cozy place, and our waitress was nice. I had a great time 😊

The one drawback is the traditional steep staircase up to the rooms, which could be difficult for young children or anyone with limited mobility. Apart from that, we had such a pleasant stay. The rooms were immaculate, and there were nice treats waiting when we arrived. Staff and locals were friendly and helpful, and the service was great. Thank you for making it such a pleasure. 10/10 for us. Shaun and Alison X
