Holiday Inn Eindhoven Airport by IHG

We were here for two nights for our son's graduation, and the stay was very good. The room was practical, clean, comfortable, and well kept, with a modern bathroom and a good bed, though the decor was a little basic. The location was convenient for the university, nearby cafés, and the city center, while still being quiet and away from the main roads. The restaurant was a nice surprise. Dinner and breakfast were both enjoyable, with tasty freshly prepared food. The menu wasn't large, but the quality was good and breakfast had enough variety to start the day. Staff were helpful and friendly, and check-in and check-out were smooth. The atmosphere was relaxed, though the common areas could use more warmth or character. We'd consider coming back.

I've stayed at the Holiday Inn in Eindhoven flight forum around 10 times a year because I work at Flight Forum and live in Amsterdam. I'm a regular guest and part of the loyalty program. This time, an hour before check-in, I got a call that my mother had fallen and broken her hip and needed immediate surgery. I turned the car around and politely called to explain I couldn't check in because of this unexpected emergency. They still charged me for the night, saying it was policy. I explained what happened and contacted guest relations, but there was no refund, follow-up, or even a gesture of understanding. That's not loyalty or taking care of guests with empathy. Please cancel my loyalty card. You won't see me here again, and I'll advise my company against having colleagues or guests stay here. My mother's surgery went fine, by the way. Thanks for not checking.

We got there ahead of schedule and were worried we might not be able to check in, but David at reception sorted out an available room in about five minutes. The staff's professionalism and warmth stood out even more than the already great location. Absolutely recommend it.

Our flight to Faro with Transavia was first delayed and then cancelled, so we arrived around 20:15 last night. They welcomed us warmly and quickly gave us a basic room, which was more than fine and very comfortable. Breakfast was included, and even at 10:30, closing time, they kindly checked whether it was okay to close while we were still finishing. Check-out was easy too, and the woman at reception was incredibly sweet and helpful. Great service. We'd recommend staying here if you need a place before or after a flight, or if your flight company leaves you in a difficult spot. Thank you! ❤️
