De Eikensingel

Not great in winter, it was only 15 C•.

Really good experience, I’d recommend it to everyone.

The cottage isn’t a villa, but it was more than adequate, and they’d thought of so many practical things that cottages at Center Parcs, Landal, etc. don’t provide. Coffee, dishwasher tablets, dish soap, garbage bags, paper towels, plenty of toilet paper, and candles were all ready for us. It’s a lovely compact wooden cottage, so yes, it creaks, as wood does. We found a wasp nest near the sauna, and the owner dealt with it almost immediately. It made for a carefree midweek break, and we really enjoyed the jacuzzi and sauna. The bathroom had scrubs, fragrances for both men and women, shampoo, and plenty of towels. It sleeps four, and my girlfriend and her partner visited for the day and stayed overnight too, which worked out perfectly. The hostess was very nice and the service was great, so I’ll definitely return. I’ve seen the old reviews, but they can be forgotten. I don’t know what it was like then, only what it’s like now. My scores: price/quality 9, care 9, customer service 9, tranquility 10. Back today from a wonderful midweek break at Eikensingel. See you next time! Patricia

The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we had a wonderful family week here. Everything we needed was there, and the complex was clean and quiet. Our highlights were the private sauna and whirlpool. The only thing we wished for was a few hooks in the upstairs bathroom. We’ll definitely come back, thank you!
