After cycling about 65 km through the lovely Veluwe fields and National Park, we were tired and thirsty, and it was great to finally find the cafe and restaurant when our water had run out. It’s in the middle of the woods, so I guess most guests are business people with cars. We only met two staff members, and they didn’t seem very professional. They had trouble understanding what I wanted.

The woods around the hotel are lovely, quiet, and peaceful, and it was a great stay. The rooms were good, very clean, and quiet, and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. Staff were super friendly, and the hotel restaurant served great food. My room only had a small mirror for your face, so a full-length one would be an improvement.

We enjoyed the lovely view over the lawn and trees at breakfast, which was great. The rooms were okay and clean, though we did miss having a little fridge. The location is excellent for biking and walking.

There’s parking and free Wi-Fi, and the staff were attentive with good service. It’s a good spot for relaxing away from busy streets or going for walks in the woods. In my opinion, the food was a bit expensive for what we got.

Four star hotel? The rooms are very small, there’s no air conditioning so it gets very hot, and the toilet and bathroom are small. The water taps leak, and the place looks a bit worn out.
