There's a huge selection of special beers to go with your meal here. The menu has some serious meat and steak options too. I’d recommend both the homemade burger and the tomahawk steak. A great spot for food and drinks, and a must when you’re in Enkhuizen!

The rooms at the hotel are really unique, and I’d give the place five stars. We had dinner outside in a beautiful setting, and the food was really good. I think our server was called Rosemarie. She was friendly and quick.

We arrived just as the kitchen was about to close, but the waiter kindly checked with the chef to see if they could still make us something. Our classic burger was really tasty, and the beer selection is huge. I ordered a fruit beer on draft and loved it. Prices are a little high, though I thought it was worth it.

The food was delicious, but the service was painfully slow and unprofessional. When I asked for hot water to fill my thermocup, the waiter misunderstood and suggested I go upstairs and get tap water myself. I was 35 weeks pregnant. He then filled only part of the cup and charged us €3 for tea. When I checked the bill, I was surprised to see the charge for hot water. He said water costs money. In over four years in the Netherlands, that had never happened to me. I asked to speak to a manager, but he said no one else was in charge and that he made the decisions. Guests shouldn’t be treated this way. At the very least, I should have been told beforehand that I might be charged, or given some actual service.
