The location makes it easy to get into Belgium or Germany, and there’s plenty to see nearby too. We only wished we’d had more time here. Our room was plain but roomy, the beds were really comfortable, and everything was spotless. They changed the towels each day. Downstairs there’s tea, coffee, and lots of other drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, to enjoy in the cozy lounge. It’s a family-run hotel with such a warm, friendly feel. It really felt like home.

The place is wonderfully peaceful, with pretty much everything you need to slow down and relax. It’s not modern or stylish, but it’s a very nice little family-run hotel. The service is super good, and breakfast is a traditional continental spread with plenty of choice. The evening meals are amazing for how easy and affordable they are.

The staff are very hostile, and the hotel itself isn’t modern. Breakfast, though, was excellent.
