Hotel Brull by Beautique Hotels

We really appreciated how clean and spacious our room was, and the breakfast was very good too. Hotel Brull is in a great spot with beautiful surroundings, and the service was friendly. The only letdown was the mattress, which felt old and had springs you could feel. Everything else was great.

The breakfast buffet came with our deal and was pretty much what you'd expect. We were satisfied with it. The hotel and its rooms are nicely decorated, and the surroundings are beautiful. It felt like stepping back in time. Some things were old and a little stained, but everything was clean and tidy, so it didn't bother us. We had a lovely weekend.

We booked two rooms for our family, and both were dirty. There was dust everywhere, the floors hadn't been swept, the tables were dusty, and there were dead insects on the windowsills. Spiderwebs were all over, including above the beds. The teacups were dusty too, and there were semen stains on the ottoman and chair. I called the receptionist to our room the next morning and showed her. She promised both rooms would be cleaned thoroughly, but when we got back that evening, nothing had been done. It was a terrible experience, and the dust triggered my allergies.

The garden terrace is pretty and the place has a chic feel. It's a nice, quiet location unless the neighbours are running some kind of agricultural engine. I think guests in single rooms get a bit less, since there's no kettle or coffee by default, though you can ask for them. The friendly receptionist did her best to help with my extra requests.
