The interior at De Zwarte Boer is lovely, and the service was friendly. We had Christmas dinner there and really enjoyed the meal: the menu had a nice variety, and every tasty dish was beautifully presented. Ted made us feel very welcome. A great choice for a festive dinner, definitely recommended.

We had such a good lunch here! The food was great, the service really friendly, and the wooden interior gives the place a lovely cozy feel. We truly enjoyed it!!!

We came back the next morning, when it was quiet, and this time we got our drinks and cake. The apple cake was good, though not great. The location is amazing, and it's a great spot for lunch when it's not too busy. The sunny Sunday before that, the outdoor seating was packed. Lunch was good, but service was slow, and apparently they couldn't keep up with the number of visitors. We never got our drinks.

The traditional atmosphere was nice, and the coffee was pretty good. I had lunch here and the menu wasn't really to my taste, though I found something, focaccia with pulled pork. It tasted just okay, and I expected the meat to be warm, but it was cold. There were also lots of flies indoors, which made it a bit unpleasant.

Great atmosphere and even better surroundings. The menu had a fair number of choices, and the food was good. It was a little warm inside, though it was a hot day. A great place for lunch.
