There are around 40 parking spaces behind the building, and it’s in a quiet spot near the water. Inside, the styling and atmosphere are great, with clear thought and effort put into the design. The customizable spaces, good sound systems, and lighting controls all work well. The staff were kind, helpful, and energetic. Good food and a wide choice of beers, too. The toilets operate automatically, which is good for hygiene.

It turned out to be a beautiful Indian summer day, so they also reserved part of the outdoor terrace for us in addition to the room we’d booked. We were able to put together a great family party here, and the staff were really friendly and helpful.

We held a presentation for 200+ people here, with slides and sound, and it worked well. It’s easy to reach, has good parking, and suits larger events. The coffee and drinks were acceptable.

A nice place for salsa social dancing, with lots of good dancers. For dancers who come here, it’s a top spot. I do think tickets at the door are a bit expensive.

We held our wedding reception, dinner, and afterparty at het Turfschip this summer. They seem able to handle just about anything you might want, with an excellent restaurant, a screen for presentations, and a sound system. We were really happy with it. The staff went above and beyond. The owners even let my aunt use the restaurant kitchen to make a large wedding cake, which was incredible. It was also easy to communicate with both the staff and owners. I’m happy to recommend the venue to anyone.
