The park is fine, though the cheapest bungalows seem untouched since the 1970s.

Clean, and nice too.

The owner was friendly, and the price was affordable. It’s a wonderfully peaceful park, with lots of greenery and plenty of room around each cottage. You can head straight into the woods for a walk. The luxury cottages are pet-free and have windows on every side, plus a big sliding door and a very large veranda where you can still sit outside in a shower.

Everything you need is in this sweet little bungalow, which sleeps four. It’s in the heart of the Netherlands and good value for the price.

We were sorry about the noise from Polish workers staying in some of the cottages. The owner said he’d speak with them, but it kept happening. Otherwise, it’s a lovely place to stay in the woods. The park is quiet, small-scale and green, close to Garderen. You’re right among the trees, with lots of walking paths and cycling junctions nearby.
