B&B De Galeriet Giethoorn

This atmospheric B&B puts you right in the middle of the action in Giethoorn. There’s a large dining area with art covering the walls, plus a kitchen and two regular bedrooms. The attic has four Dutch 'bedstee' sleeping spaces, some for one person and some for two. All in all, a very nice place to stay.

You can also have your picture taken here in traditional regional clothing, though I haven’t stayed at the B&B itself. It’s fun, but take care with the garments since they’re delicate. We paid €28 for a photo with six people. They take a few shots, print one in full color, and send all of them to your email.

We only stopped by to have photos taken dressed like locals. They were very accommodating.

Excellent.
