The peaceful, spacious setting made it easy to enjoy the beautiful area, and Villa Bodelaeke restaurant on site rounded out the stay. Our kids loved the villa. It was cozy and clean, with just the right vacation feel, and the hosts at both the resort and restaurant were very friendly. For a visit to Giethoorn and the beautiful Weerribben national park, I couldn’t ask for a better place. Waterresort Bodelaeke is the place to be if you want the best.
Sanne deserves a special thank you. She was professional, kind, and helpful, and her positive attitude really made a difference for us. The resort itself was clean and well organized, with beautiful views and a very peaceful feel when I stayed last August. I had a wonderful experience and would definitely visit again.

Peaceful and quiet, just right for relaxing. The houses are wonderful, the service is perfect, and there’s water and waterbirds all around. We come back very year.
We really enjoyed the calm and the amazing views over the water, especially in fall and winter. The comfortable houses sit on one of the largest Dutch lakes in a quiet gated community. In warmer months, there’s boating, water sports, and fishing to enjoy. It’s a wonderful upscale location with very comfortable villas on the lakes.
