The host’s warm welcome, kindness, and constant smile made me want to return just for that treatment. I found the place comfortable and quiet, and its location was perfect. I had a wonderful stay and would recommend giving it a try, you won’t regret it.

This atmospheric B&B puts you right in the middle of the action in Giethoorn. There’s a large dining area with art covering the walls, plus a kitchen and two regular bedrooms. The attic has four Dutch 'bedstee' sleeping spaces, some for one person and some for two. All in all, a very nice place to stay.

You can also have your picture taken here in traditional regional clothing, though I haven’t stayed at the B&B itself. It’s fun, but take care with the garments since they’re delicate. We paid €28 for a photo with six people. They take a few shots, print one in full color, and send all of them to your email.

We only stopped by to have photos taken dressed like locals. They were very accommodating.
