The harbour view from the window was amazing, and the little garden made the place feel special, especially the jasmine tree and the ripe grapes I got to try 🥰 It felt like being at home, with a cozy, family feel and a bit of a Mediterranean atmosphere. The harbour house was spotless, tidy, and in a perfect location. Already looking forward to coming back to Zeeland and the harbour house for my next holiday 🤩🌸❤️

The historic house has character and a harbour view, and the location may be ideal, but we had a lot of problems and wouldn't stay again. There was a persistent sewage or mould smell in both the shared areas and our room, along with strong cooking smells, including rice, from tenants living in the building. We were in room No. 2, which has two bedrooms. The double bed in the main bedroom was hard to access because there wasn't enough headroom. With the low space and sharp edges around the bed, we felt it was too much of a liability, so we slept very uncomfortably in the living room on two poor-quality single beds. Those also had limited headroom. The bedding had stains underneath the covers, and there were no protective covers. The room was very dusty and received no service during our stay. We found plenty to be dissatisfied with. Looking at other reviews, though, many people seem to enjoy it, so you may have a better stay if these issues aren't a concern for you.

The room had good beds and came with a mobile air conditioner, fridge, tea and coffee set, digitenne TV, and Wi-Fi. The shower and toilet are rather small. Close the door while showering or the room can get wet, even with the curtain. Rooms may be a bit noisy, but it didn't bother me. The little harbour location is great, and the owner and lady host were very friendly. Thanks for having me 👍

We had a wonderful break at harbour house, and the accommodation was really good quality, with lovely beams, loads of character, and a view over the harbour. The instructions were clear, including how to move our dates when covid got in the way. We hired bikes locally for the week and got around easily on the great paths, cycling back and forth to kortgene and the skiffie rowing International championships. There was lovely food in the beautiful town too. Thanks again!
