B&B De Oude Nadorst

I really enjoyed the huge room and lovely garden, and the breakfast was delicious. The host was friendly, and it’s an excellent spot to stay and get some fresh air.

Sleeping in a covered wagon was such a lovely experience, and even in the bitter cold outside, we stayed warm. After a hot shower in the house, we had a wonderful breakfast there. The bathroom had everything, from towels and different shower and hair products to a hairdryer. You can also rent the house for the night.

Oude Nadorst is a care farm with a B&B, set along one of Europe’s oldest roads. You can stay overnight in a Gypsy wagon, and there are various tasks for people with small children. Firewood, bedding plants, vegetables, and furniture made from scaffolding wood are in high demand. There are plenty of possibilities to discuss.

We stayed six days in the gypsy wagon and loved the peaceful green setting, with meadows and farm animals around us. It’s close to central Groningen, though it feels surrounded by greenery, and it’s a paradise for dogs. Our lovely hostess welcomed us warmly and brought a different healthy breakfast each morning. The wagon is small, cozy, and inviting, a unique back-to-basics stay. The care farm also has another B&B room in the farmhouse’s front room. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we’re planning to come back in a month. Don’t expect luxury, but everything you need is there.
