The farm fresh breakfast was the highlight of our trip! We were a family of four, with one child and one senior, and this B&B suited us perfectly. The apartment-style rooms were clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The hosts were gracious and accommodating, and the peaceful location was beautiful. We had a car, so the parking and easy drive into the city worked well, and it also made a great base for exploring the area.

The host was fantastic and happy to stop for a chat, and the breakfast they provided was brilliant. There are free bikes in top-notch condition for guests, and we rode them into the city. Our apartment looked brand new, was in great condition, and had all the appliances we needed to cook a few meals. The balcony has nice views and was a great place for a glass of wine or whatever you fancy. The host really showed how lovely the Dutch are. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

We made a mistake and booked for December 22, 2025, instead of December 22, 2024. The lovely couple who run the BnB went above and beyond: they helped us find somewhere else to stay and even offered us a ride to our hotel. Such a gem of a place, with truly kind hosts. We’d absolutely love to stay at their BnB if we visit Groningen again.

It’s a lovely, quiet place a little outside town, with a great room for relaxing. My room was large, clean, and had everything for a longer stay: coffee machine, kettle, cooker, fridge, mugs, plates, towels, extra pillows, and more. I was only there one night for a business trip, but wished I could have stayed longer for a holiday.

The friendly hosts made this brand new B&B my go-to for future Groningen visits. The modern rooms sit at the edge of the city, overlooking pastures, and each has its own terrace where you might see sheep or cows grazing. A free bike rental comes with the stay, and it’s a 10-15 minute ride into town, which saves on city parking fees.
