Halbert Hotel

The room was far too dark for me, and the TV kept losing its signal. I’d like to see brighter lights and a tissue box that isn’t down to its last tissue. Still, the shower alone almost earns five stars: lots of pressure, properly hot water, plenty of space, and large bottles of gel, shampoo, hand wash, and lotion. I liked the sink too, and the bed was very comfortable with a good topper and pillow. The temperature was pleasant, with underfloor heating. Breakfast was small-scale but had what I wanted, including muesli, croissants, fruit, and three kinds of eggs. The old city center location was handy, about a 15-minute walk from the station.

Right in the center, with a location that’s hard to beat. The hotel was spotless, reception was welcoming, and the rooms felt modern and spacious for such a central spot.

We spent one night here as a family. The family room was roomy enough for friends too, and the staff were friendly and helpful. A lovely hotel in a convenient location.

Our room was on the small side, but it had everything we needed. Breakfast was a real highlight, with a generous choice of fresh, tasty food. When our flight was canceled and we had to leave very early on departure day, the hotel gave us a thoughtfully packed lunch instead of breakfast. The staff were consistently attentive, helpful, and friendly. The location is right in the city center, ideal for exploring. Thanks for such good service!
