Hotel Herberg de Lindehoeve

We loved our few days here. My girlfriend and I found the room clean, comfortable, and quiet, just what we needed. Breakfast was tasty too, served in a cozy, welcoming space. It’s a great area for walks, and Venlo is only a short drive away. We’ll definitely be back.

Such a clean, peaceful place, especially the bathroom. I was surprised by how spotless it was. One of the cleanest places I’ve ever stayed. Great for a short trip.

The location worked well for an overnight stop while travelling through Europe, and the website makes the hotel look appealing. But the evening service really let it down. I’d booked a room with my large dog and was given one he couldn’t get to because the stairs were very narrow, steep, and slippery. Carrying him up and down would have been risky for me too. When I asked to switch rooms, the evening staff member refused to help and wasn’t much help when I needed directions to the room either. The buffet also wasn’t worth nearly 30 euros. The food had no labels, and there was no water available.

I didn’t have time to stay at the hotel, but the reception staff were kind and sweet. The place has an authentic design that feels like a village in the Netherlands. The shower costs €5, and it was really nice, with no queue or time limit. Thanks a lot.
