We’ve stayed here twice now. There’s loads of outdoor space and an enviable number of play areas, especially for younger children. We also found plenty to do nearby, and it made a good base for exploring beautiful Zeeland.

The pitches are roomy, with hedges along the sides for privacy, and the campsite is well maintained. There’s lots of entertainment for kids, so if you’re travelling without children, you may want to look elsewhere. The sanitary building was only just satisfactory. The area around the campsite is lovely, and the beach is about a 10-minute bike ride away.

There’s nowhere covered for campers to shelter if it rains. It’s also far too expensive for small campers such as cyclists, since they’re charged the same as motorhomes.

We loved our two-week stay at this great Ardoer campsite. The facilities are clean and modern, and the staff are well organized. It seems especially suited to Dutch and German families.

A relaxed, lovely campsite with clean bathrooms and a play area for children. You can barbecue there, and the beach is close by.
