It’s a basic place for a quick, simple stay. The staff were great and gave me a very warm welcome, and the beds were comfortable with basic amenities. The room was a bit dated, though, and the bathroom had no separate tub or shower tray with a curtain, so showering left the whole floor wet. There was also plenty of noise from the city and neighboring rooms, as the rooms aren’t soundproof. The hotel is right in the center.

Breakfast was really tasty, with sweet and savory choices. We had a very large room with four beds, and there was a table with cups and tea and coffee options. You could also have dinner in the room. The hotel is at Grote Markt, behind the church. It’s a perfect spot for exploring Haarlem or going to an event at Phil. I stayed there with my parents.

I keep choosing the Ambassador hotel in Haarlem for business, and I have no plans to stay elsewhere. The people who work there are the key for me, they’re always willing to do whatever they can. Another outstanding stay. See you again soon!

We had a very pleasant stay, and I’d happily come back and recommend it. The location is close to everything while still away from obnoxious tourists. The beds are wonderful, and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Church bells weren’t a problem, and once the restaurants closed, the area was quiet and peaceful.

A quiet, cozy hotel in lovely surroundings, with very friendly staff and people. The room is cleaned every other day. The price is reasonable. Love from Nepal 🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵
