B&B Het Hart van Haarlem

Att recommended the local brewery Jopen, and we had a great time there. He and his wife welcomed us warmly to their lovely B&B in Haarlem. We were there for our honeymoon after travelling from Alaska, and met our friend there too. The rooms were amazing, the location was perfect, and breakfast at 9am was delicious. We’d absolutely stay again.

The rooms have a fun, unusual feel and a lot more character than the boring sort of room you find elsewhere. The house is right in the center of Haarlem, and it’s even cheap for the city. Everything was clean, quiet, and well organized. The host is super nice, and the breakfast they bring to your room is huge and tastes great. I can highly recommend it if you need a hotel in lovely Haarlem.

Self check-in and check-out were convenient, and I felt safe throughout my visit. The house is a charming historic mansion with a beautiful garden, right in downtown Haarlem. Shops, restaurants, canals, and the old square are only steps away. Bus #300 runs frequently and directly to the airport, stopping across the street in front of the house. In the morning I got to meet the gracious host when they brought over a generous, delicious breakfast on a cart. A very peaceful stay.

A lovely place to stay with your loved ones. You can find what you need here to cook, and the beds are really fluffy and warm. Breakfast is massive, with plenty to choose from, including local cheese and meat. Pro tip: Haarlem nightlife is cheap, the wine is great, and gas from will wonka is best.
