I spent four days here with my mother in a room for two. We loved Hello I’m Local: the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The cafe served a nice, simple breakfast and, surprisingly, excellent coffee. It’s on the edge of the town center in a pleasant neighborhood, an easy walk from the main sights. I’d absolutely stay again.

We didn’t stay at the hotel or hostel, but still had a lovely time there. The host was nice, and I really liked the relaxed atmosphere and the surrounding area. It had that old European feel, very Netherlands, with canals and cute brick buildings you’d expect to see if you’re visiting from Latin America, Asia, or the Americas. We also enjoyed the fresh mint and ginger tea with orange and honey 🤠🍵🍊🍯. A nice place to meet other travelers.

The service from the staff was wonderful, and this hostel was fantastic. For a similar price, it was orders of magnitude better than the other hostels we visited in the Netherlands. A great base for exploring Haarlem.

The shared spaces were comfortable and beautiful, and I liked having a quiet, walkable location that still felt connected to the city. My room was a lovely place to unwind at night. The hosts were absolutely lovely too. I had a wonderful stay at Hello, I'm local in Haarlem and hope to come back soon!

We stopped in for a coffee break while visiting Haarlem. The service was friendly, the atmosphere was great, and the coffee came with a piece of stroopwaffel and tasted really good. Nice concept, I’d happily come back any day ☺️
