The host is really friendly and easy to talk to, and the other guests usually are too. It’s a cozy hostel with a nice atmosphere and good service. There are some snacks and drinks for free, while others, like beer, cost extra. My main issue was the size of the rooms. There are 5 of them, and at least one is almost uncomfortably small. The boat is over 100 years old, so some of the pipes are in rough shape. You can’t flush toilet paper, but they provide a separate bin.

Breakfast was topp, and the boat’s interior space has been put to great use. A really nice concept with a great atmosphere.

After the Zandvoort race days, I spent last night here and thought it was excellent. The rooms are small, but the beds are comfortable. There’s a minibar stocked with wine, beer, cola and orange juice, and the host was very friendly. The upper deck terrace was lovely too. Breakfast was very good for the price, with lots of toppings and eggs. Definitely recommended, especially at that price.

Haarlem has a lovely, friendly feel, with plenty of terraces, bars and restaurants. We had a great time there during our Friday night stay. It got a little noisy until about 3 a.m. because people were out partying, but it wasn’t too bothersome. It was a pleasant experience.
