We enjoyed bike rides around the Velouwemeer lake and through the woods and heath, and felt very comfortable in the house. The evenings on the roof terrace, watching the ships, were fantastic. It’s stylish, charming, clean, tastefully furnished, and has everything two people need. The harbor location is perfect, though cars can only get close for loading and unloading. Free parking at the sports field is about 1.4 km away. There’s no TV, but we hardly noticed. The app operated front door lock was tricky at first, and there are surely better systems. The stairs to the bedroom, which has good beds, and the very narrow stairs to the roof terrace take getting used to. They’d be difficult for anyone with even slight mobility problems. We were 68 and 69 and stayed four days. A good place for a short break, though probably more suited to younger people.
