The bed was lovely and firm, and I slept like a queen ✨ The room was clean, new and really nice. It’s very close to Efteling, and the small town centre nearby is pleasant for a stroll, though there aren’t many shops. We stayed for our Efteling visit and would definitely recommend it for the comfort and price.

The location is perfect for eftelling. The room was a little cold even with the temperature set to max, and check-in is rather late in the day. Since you let yourself in and there isn’t really any service, I ended up walking around with my things while I waited.

The hotel is very close to Efteling, and the room had everything listed: a coffee machine with fresh Nespresso pods each day, tea, air conditioning, underfloor heating in the bathroom and daily cleaning. I liked the new design, the comfortable bed and pillows, and the high-quality finish of the renovation. My only main issues were the windows, which didn’t block enough noise. When trucks or motorcycles passed, it felt like I was in the middle of the road, though traffic was very light at night. Also, the temperature couldn’t be set above 22 degrees. I usually prefer 23, but this wasn’t as serious a problem. I’d appreciate a do-not-disturb option, since I don’t need daily cleaning. That’s why I’d give it 9/10.

It’s clean enough and very well located for the theme park, but I’d only come back if the weather stayed below 15 degrees. We were on the first floor, where there was no air conditioning, and the fan was useless because it didn’t point at the bed. In the extreme heat that was miserable, especially for the price we paid when I’d read that some rooms have air conditioning. There’s also hardly any wardrobe or storage, which isn’t good for a stay longer than a day.
