The hotel is right in central Kampen, within walking distance of the railway station and just behind the Netherlands’ longest shopping street. Some rooms look out over the wide IJssel. The rooms are well equipped, with a new bathroom, desk, and good bed. There’s a separate car park where I could safely keep my bike. Breakfast is included and prepared for you in the morning, so you need to come at an agreed time rather than choose from a buffet. The owner asks what time works. Vegan choices were limited, though the strawberry jam and fruit were nice. The price was reasonable, service was good, and there’s a self-service coffee machine in the corridor. I could hear it from my room, along with people talking on the stairs and in the corridors. It’s an old building with lots of stairs, so it won’t work for wheelchair users.

The room and bathroom were both huge, the bed was great, and I slept really well. The interior is stunning. Friendly, helpful reception, and the place is right in the town centre. Parking, breakfast, and coffee all day are included. One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. I’d give it six stars if I could. I really loved it!

We could park right in front of the hotel and leave the car there, since everything in Kampen is walkable. The location is amazing, with a beautiful room, lots of space, a comfortable bed, a great shower, and a lovely breakfast. Ineke en Jan were attentive, clear, super friendly, and helpful. We had a great time and will definitely come back!

Tea and coffee are available to guests on the floor, and the rooms are spacious, quiet, and have really comfortable beds. The hotel feels warm and cozy, with an interior chosen with care and attention to detail. A pleasant stay and definitely worth the money.

We were in room 4302 with three people. It was large, clean, and comfortable, and the Wi-Fi was super. Breakfast was nice, with fresh orange juice, a boiled egg, yoghurt, fruit, assorted breads, cheeses, meats, and jam. There’s also an honesty bar. The owners and staff were friendly, and the location is central, with a river view from the front. Definitely the place to be in Kampen.
