For anyone who likes peace, quiet, and authenticity, this is a great bed and breakfast. Our apartment had its own terrace, a bedroom, a large bathroom, and a living space with an upstairs room and library. The farmhouse dates from 1909, is very clean and tastefully decorated, and has two separate apartments. There's a spacious garden and broad green views. The room has a TV and coffee pod machine, and breakfast was delicious with fresh produce. A lovely base for cycling along the IJssel River or visiting Deventer and Zwolle.

We stayed two nights in the Vossenkamer. It was beautifully decorated and clean, with a lovely bathroom. The breakfast each morning was generous and delicious. We really enjoyed ourselves!

The breakfast was a real highlight, with fresh local treats that were so good. We stayed a few days, and the owner was warm and clearly cared about providing good service. The chicken coop is lovely and surprisingly spacious, with its own cooking facilities. Highly recommended!

The breakfast let things down for me: Danerolle croissants and warmed Kaiser rolls. The surroundings were beautiful, and the room and large bathroom were great. Everything was clean and well cared for.

For two people, this is a lovely rural place with everything you need. Just be aware the stairs up to the sleeping area are a little narrow. 😉
