Dromen in Drempt

We’ve stayed at plenty of B&Bs, and this one is our favorite. You feel at home straight away. Irma and Nico’s successors have a lovely place to carry on. The rooms are spacious, with high ceilings, lovely colors, and everything you need. There’s a big bathroom with plenty of towels and amenities, and finally a bed large enough that we didn’t wake up sore or with back pain. The shared breakfast area is cozy, with a kitchen, big table, and lots of local information booklets. Privacy is well considered, with a separate entrance and parking space. The hosts were very friendly. The setting is beautiful for walks and bike rides. We saw cows outside the window in the morning and a gorgeous sunset over the church tower of Doesburg that evening.

Breakfast was delicious, with local products, after a wonderfully restful night. Our hostess, Irma, greeted us warmly, showed us around, and explained everything. She’d even baked a tasty nut cake. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and the shower lovely. Everything had been taken care of down to the smallest detail. It’s a peaceful place for a getaway, and we’d definitely return if we get the chance.

We got a very warm welcome and enjoyed a fantastic breakfast in the large shared dining room and kitchen. The modern rooms are spacious and each has a bathroom. There’s plenty of parking nearby, and the sunset is stunning. It’s an ideal spot for a relaxed bike ride through the Achterhoek. You can charge an e-bike in the owner's shed. Bringing a little one? Ask whether they have a child seat or booster seat available.

The view from the meadow in the morning, with just birdsong around, is lovely. It’s so quiet here, and the bed is wonderfully comfortable. The blackout curtains keep the room completely dark. The B&B feels brand new, with a modern country style, and the hosts are very flexible and welcoming. We enjoyed a glass of wine by the fire pit on the terrace in the evening. There’s a lovely rain shower, and breakfast is generous, mostly made up of local products. You’ll want to try a bit of everything. Highly recommended!
