The staff were very kind, and our room was clean and cozy. It's a quiet spot out in the countryside.

Such a lovely place, surrounded by fields and cows, with so much peace and quiet. You'll need a car to get there.

The breakfast was laid out so you could eat whenever you finally got up, which was perfect for late sleepers. We also enjoyed walking nearby, including at the beautiful Sallandse Heuvelrug, and dogs were welcome. The room was well kept and had everything we needed, with a good bed and a fridge; there was also a shared kitchen for making meals. The host and hostess were friendly, and I'd gladly return. I rarely feel at home in a place, but I felt that way here very quickly. It's a wonderfully quiet location in Bathmen.

The walk of a few kilometers around the farm, through woods and meadows, was really pleasant. We also spent a long afternoon strolling through the courtyards and shops, and went to the theater in Zutphen one evening. The welcome was very friendly, with a quick explanation of the area. Our spacious room was well maintained and had a kitchen, coffee, and tea. We didn't use the TV. Breakfast was good, and they took my vegetarian diet into account. The room wasn't designer-style, but that didn't matter to us, especially for what we paid for two nights.
