The owner was extremely rude and manipulated the booking, pressuring us to take a different room. The hotel is run down, poorly managed, and doesn’t deserve a four-star rating. It’s also not that close to the railway station. Terrible hotel.

A lovely building in a peaceful spot, right beside the city centre.

The value for money was very poor, and by Dutch standards this felt more like a two-star place than a four-star one. Noise came from both other guests and the elevator. The bathroom was outdated, the fan and hairdryer worked poorly or not at all, and without a thermostatic faucet it was hard to get the shower water to the right temperature.

The owner was nice, breakfast was well looked after, and the large room had all the trimmings.
