The small swimming pool was fine for a couple of hours, but most of the rest of our family stay was disappointing. Our eight-person house felt dirty and hadn't been cleaned properly. The indoor play area seemed unfinished and was very dirty and poorly maintained, with serious safety concerns for children. There were no baby changing facilities, and the toilets had neither soap nor paper towels. It didn't seem suitable for children under two. The place has potential, but cleanliness, safety, and basic facilities need urgent attention.

The kids had loads of room to run around, and we could sit outside on the large plots. It's a good park for children, and we'd probably come back. When we arrived, we learned the pool was broken and closed. They did offer an alternative, which was a nice gesture. The bungalows were the real problem: mildew, cobwebs, broken window latches, a dodgy gas stove, and a shower in terrible shape, with black fungi and rotten wood trim around the basin. There wasn't a broom or usable vacuum because its hose was missing. The place smelled odd too. Housekeeping had just put a bag over the garbage that was still there. We reported this to the Front Desk, but the staff seemed unimpressed and gave us a standard “we'll report it” kind of reply. It's a mixed-use property with holiday homes and vacation bungalows. If you can take the mishaps in stride, it can be a good deal, though there are other options at the same price that may be a better experience.

The house was clean and modern, kitchen included. But the indoor play area and pools open very late, even though there doesn't seem to be any staff there.

A quiet place to switch off, with forests and pastures all around this greener part of Holland. The resort is tidy and in reasonably good shape. People mostly keep to themselves, apart from some Dutch singalong. The kids have a playground and organized activities for the younger ones. The indoor pool seems best suited to families with toddlers. I'd give the amenities another star if there were a few more activities.
